Aftermarket parts installation, race prep, exhausts, alignments, and more — all under one roof in Duvall, WA.
Aftermarket Parts Installation
You've already picked out the parts — coilovers, sway bars, brake kits, aero pieces, short-shifters, roll bar pads, harnesses. Chase Race provides the labor to install them correctly, without the back-and-forth of a bigger shop trying to upsell you on parts you already have.
This is one of the things Chase Race does well: bring your parts, get a clean install. No guesswork, no substitutions. If something doesn't fit or needs modification, you'll know before the work starts.
- Coilover and suspension kit installation
- Sway bar and end-link fitting
- Big brake kit installs
- Harness and safety equipment mounting
- Aero and body kit fitting
- Short-throw shifter and drivetrain accessories
- Bring your own parts — labor only

Alignments & Corner Balance
A proper alignment is the single highest-return investment for lap time. Chase Race performs four-wheel alignments dialed to your specific driving style, tire compound, and track surface — not a default street spec pulled from a book.
Corner balancing distributes weight evenly across all four corners for predictable balance through turns. Especially important after suspension modifications, cage installation, or any change that shifts the car's weight distribution.
- Four-wheel precision alignment
- Corner weighting and corner balance
- Caster, camber, and toe adjustment
- Setup for SCCA, NASA, and other sanctioning body rules
- Street performance alignment available
Exhaust Installation
Chase Race installs aftermarket exhaust systems — cat-back, axle-back, headers, and full systems — with solid welds and proper fitment. The goal is a leak-free, rattle-free result that sounds and performs the way the manufacturer intended.
For unusual builds where off-the-shelf routing won't clear suspension, cages, or chassis rails, some custom pipe work is also possible.
- Cat-back and axle-back system installation
- Header and manifold installs
- Welded connections — no exhaust leaks
- Custom routing around cages, fuel cells, and other obstacles
- All makes and models including race cars and unusual builds

Kit Car Builds
Chase Race has experience building tube-chassis kit cars using a Miata as the donor vehicle for suspension, steering, and brakes. These lightweight, open-wheel builds use the Miata's well-proven running gear in a purpose-built chassis.
Current experience includes builds using kits from a Pacific Northwest kit car manufacturer — a tube-chassis design that accepts NA/NB Miata suspension, steering, and braking components. The result is a genuinely lightweight track car with familiar, maintainable parts.
- Tube chassis kit assembly
- NA/NB Miata donor car component integration
- Suspension, steering, and brake fitment
- Engine installation and first-start setup
- Contact to discuss your specific kit
Miata Specialist
The Mazda Miata / MX-5 is one of the most popular enthusiast cars on the road, and Chase Race is proficient across all generations — NA, NB, NC, and ND. If you're building, prepping, or just maintaining a Miata, you're in the right place.
One notable specialty: NC Miata 2.5L engine swaps. The factory NC came with a 2.0L, but the 2.5L Mazda block is a direct-fit upgrade that provides a meaningful increase in displacement and low-end torque without exotic parts or fabrication. A popular choice for NC owners who want more pull without turbo complexity.
- All generations: NA, NB, NC, ND
- NC 2.0L → 2.5L engine swap
- Suspension, alignment, and corner balance setup
- Exhaust system installation
- Aftermarket parts fitting
- Autocross and track prep

Race Car Maintenance
Keeping a race car running reliably requires different attention than daily driver service. Chase Race handles pre-event prep, post-event teardowns, fluid changes, brake work, and the general mechanical upkeep that keeps your car safe and ready to run.
Because Doug competes himself, he knows what matters at the track and what can wait. Quick, honest assessments — not a shop that manufactures work.
- Pre-event and post-event inspections
- Oil and fluid services
- Brake pads, rotors, and fluid flushes
- Suspension component replacement
- General mechanical repairs
- Safety equipment checks
Tire Mounting
Tire mounting for all sizes and compounds — race slicks, autocross tires, R-comps, and street rubber. Fast turnaround so you're not waiting on tires when the weekend is approaching.
- All tire sizes and rim diameters
- Race slicks, R-compounds, autocross tires
- Street tires and all-seasons
- Balancing available
- Bring your own tires and wheels
